My Husband and I are having a new house BUILT this year and there are SO many decisions to make. Home design DOES NOT come easy to me so I decided to make a little design board to help myself visualize. I already have a few of the bigger items, so those were my starting point. Anyone else feeling like they have gotten off track with all these summer vacations? Well I sure do! Between Mexico, Hawaii and Portland I have lost a bit of my drive to get SUPER FIT and fallen off the horse. I'm ready to push excuses aside and go HARD for September. My 30th Birthday is Sept 29th and I promised to be in the BEST shape of my life for it. Think I can do it?
I'm looking for 5 go getters to join me in this group. It will start Sept 1st with planning and prepping, then go hardcore Sept 8th-28th! I want people who are going to give 100% from Day 1.. I need the motivation and encouragement just like everyone else. We can do this together!

The last few months my skin has been getting WORSE and WORSE. Especially since being on vacation and having to apply liquid sunscreen every day. I felt like a pubescent 13 year old with giant cystic pimples and white heads- GROSS! I'm almost 30, I thought I was over having acne like this. Well, come to find out, its most likely from my miscarriage back in May- hormones are going crazy and your chin is the central spot for breakouts caused by hormones and ovaries.
Anyways, I went in for a simple eyebrow wax at the hotel spa (Alexander Spa at The Marriott Kauai) and the sweet lady doing my brows asked me a couple honest questions about my skin and then offered to do a few treatments, her treat ;) She did a few PAINFUL extractions (my chin was SWOLLEN), and applied some toner and sent me on my way with a mask to apply later in the day.
I got home and applied the mask after showering, let it sit for 30 minutes and fell in LOVE. It smells REALLY good, feels awesome, totally calmed my inflamed skin, and left it feeling smooth and soft. I will definitely be going back tomorrow to pick up a big tube of this stuff! LOVED IT! PLUS, its vegan and totally natural- WIN, WIN!
If you are experiencing pregnancy acne or your skin is suffering like mine after a miscarriage, I HIGHLY recommend this line. I will be posting after pictures soon ;) As for now, I know how it feels- GRRREAT!

HAPPY MEALS!!!
No not McDonalds... well I guess it COULD be if thats what you chose. When I say HAPPY MEAL though I mean a special meal that holds NO GUILT, it makes you feel happy, knowing you have EARNED it by eating clean and exercising. Many of you are probably on this clean eating life style change (just like me!) and it can be HARD. Sometimes you miss those old junky foods, and that is A-OK! Cheat meal may sound familiar, but that implies doing something bad. You shouldn't feel bad! You should feel HAPPY!

Cheat meal may sound familiar, but that implies doing something bad. You shouldn't feel bad! You should feel HAPPY!
The BIG question here is this, how many are okay per WEEK?
ONE!!! The answer is ONE!!! Not one a day, not all weekend, ONE happy meal/cheat meal per week!
To keep your clean eating lifestyle on track I want you to PLAN out those HAPPY meals EVERY single week! Even when you feel like you have become a pro with the meal planning, know ahead of time when you are going to have that special meal. What happens if you slip up? Do you get to still have that "planned" happy meal?.. Nope! You sure don't
You are at Day 17 now and really at your breaking point, breaking bad habits that is. Keep working at it every week and it will come. Do your best to fight the urge to over eat or turn back to a bad diet.
TIP: A lot of the time HUNGER is really caused by THIRST- quench your thirst with something special. For me, my go to is canned naturally flavored sparkling water. There is just something about the bubbles that I love! My favorite is La Croix Peach Flavored.

Clean Eating 101- The Outside Aisles
I've been working REALLY hard on my clean and healthy eating the last couple months. At first I felt like I was eating raw carrots, celery, fruit, and poached/grilled flavorless chicken, fish and turkey.. like every day! I missed my old favorite foods so I started creating NEW versions of the same old favorites.
WELL after lots of practice and pinteresting* I have come up with some great recipes, substitutes, and daily rules to eating clean and staying healthy.
What is CLEAN EATING? Its eliminating bad chemicals that come from packaged/processed foods and getting back to the basics. Creating a nutrient rich, fat burning system right inside your own body!
If you are struggling to figure out GOOD and TASTY healthy/clean eating then join me to learn how

There is a reason "WHY" behind everything we do. Today I want to share with you all the reason I became a Beach Body Coach and what drives me to keep doing it.
SO I WANT TO SHARE A LITTLE (BIG!) STORY ABOUT ME:
6 months ago I was newly married and eager to start my family. After working for years and years as a nanny I knew I DID NOT want to have a nanny for my kids. However, I was EAGER to start my family despite having a plan for when babies came. So my Husband and I decided we would just figure it out as it came, we went off birth control in December and tried for a couple months to get pregnant.
Come beginning of March we found out that we were EXPECTING! We were both SOOO excited and could barely keep it to ourselves. Anyways.. fast forward a few weeks- something wasn't right. Something felt off. After a week or so of intense cramping I went to see the Dr and found out that I had a "blighted ovum", which is basically when an egg implants and starts to form but the embryo stops developing very early or not at all. Well, we were super disappointed.
I had a few options for how to move forward- we chose to wait it out and try to let things happen naturally. Well that didn't happen, so we did the next most natural thing and took pills to induce a miscarriage. That didn't work either.. so we tried it AGAIN, and this time it worked TOO WELL.. anyways, over the next few weeks I was in and out of the hospital OVER and OVER, including 2 trips to the emergency room, 2 D&C's, & an overnight stay.
Needless to say, this was SUPER stressful and EXPENSIVE, as I missed two weeks of work for recovery after the OVERLY traumatic miscarriage. In the end, it took me 2 months to fully miscarry and go back to a normal life. During this time I had a lot of time off form work to reflect. I realized that I needed to stick with my original game plan of being more financial stable before having kids, and that I had to come up with a way to be financially stable AND work from home so I could spend my days with my kids and fur babies, and not leave them with a nanny or in daycare.

I had pondered the idea of coaching a few times and even looked into it a time or two and talked to my coach Kati Heifner about it, but didn't move forward. Then one day I saw this AMAZING opportunity for a 21 day coaching accelerated group from some of the best in the whole company. I JUMPED RIGHT ON IT! I always knew that I LOVED helping people and was interested in health and nutrition. Something just clicked and I knew this was for me! I had seen what my coach could do with the business in 3 short years and I WANTED IT BAD!
So here I am now, 2 months into coaching. My business is growing quickly and I'm eager to pass it on and help others do the same! My goal is to go FT with my coaching and leave my nanny job by May 2015, this WILL HAPPEN!

This brings me to my WHY! WHY did I decide to coach and make this change in my life? Because I want to be healthy and fit for my family, I want to be financially stable, I want to work a job that I LOVE and provide for my family. Most of all, I want to work from home where I can raise my kids at the same time.

I'm sharing the story with you all because I want to inspire people to go after their dreams and turn them into reality. I also want to encourage others who have gone through this same thing to PICK THEMSELVES UP and keep going! Find the positives in your experience and let them lift you up higher!

Hi! I'm Liz and I got married last year and we are at the point now where we want babies, babies, and more babies.. however, my whole life I've told myself I would be in the BEST shape of my life before I had kids. I want to give myself that step up before I take the plunge. So I decided to make a change and COMMIT 100% to something I know works: Beach Body!
I'm a curvy girl and I'm okay with that.. as long as its tight and firm. When the muscle isn't there it isn't working for me ;) I bought P90X a few years ago and did it once through (almost!) and had good results, but I wasn't 100% committed. I wasn't accountable, I skipped workouts and had a lot of "cheat days", didn't use Shakeology. But I still saw some progress.. amazing right? You can see progress and I didn't even finish. Just imagine how it will work this time around now that I'm 100% committed!
I'm starting the 21 Day Fix this week and I can't wait to see the progress. I've already kickstarted with extra healthy eating and have been trying and creating all kinds of new recipes (I LOVE to cook!) Watch my blog for my favorite recipes ;)
I'm a before and after girl- I LIVE for them! Before and after anything... needless to say, lots of pictures to come!
